Welcome to the first (of many) warm hearted updates from Albetine.
Little Notes For January
How are you? It’s a difficult question to answer at the moment, I do hope you are well and hope that you are taking the current lockdown here to rest & retreat when you can.
I paused pressing send on this any earlier than today as I hadn’t quite found my rhythm for the new year especially this one. After the spruce, pine & moss were swept away until next time it brought time to reflect & retreat. My new intentions & self care ritual’s I’ve carved out certainly feel comforting & nourishing reminding myself regularly that rest & retreat is the most powerful thing I can do personally this Winter rather than resolutions or restrictions. Being kind to ourselves is so important.
Sewing the seed
Florally, there’s a welcome flurry of emails to look forward to in the new year for wedding flowers & cut flower bouquets which are always uplifting receive & read, I love talking flowers! And then the diary continues to fill…
My daily rituals include my botanical love for Neals Yard Remedies Organic (You may well have already picked up on this, if not, heard of the established brand).
For me, working with nature on a day to day is mostly therapeutic, in flow with the flora & scent of this seasons offerings (with a good dose of hard work, grubby hands, and not forgetting the pile of admin at times also), this seamlessly transfers into my life away from the workroom where I and others benefit from the therapeutic properties found in Neals Yard Remedies Organic products.
I was thrilled to welcome & introduce their beautiful products to Albetine towards the end of last summer, providing a complimentary expansion to the floral business. They will accompany the floral service already provided, covering not only wedding flowers & the joy in receiving cut flowers but now also offering floral products for lifestyle & beauty. similarly to cut flowers there is something suitable for everyone. My hope is that the products inspire & help you cultivate new rituals that bring joy into your life that you can nurture & grow. I couldn’t think of a more perfect blend, could you?
In brief, these captivating products use the highest possible percentage of organic ingredients, being kinder to the earth & kinder to you. Using ethically sourced herbs, botanicals, and essential oils, experts have handcrafted potent blends of love, science, and nature.
They’re certified organic, help save endangered forests, help save the bees, use natural ingredients, no animal testing, protecting our planet & beautifully British made to name a few.
The iconic blue apothecary-style bottles are a simple eye-catching addition to any shelf in your home helping you to live happier, healthier lives. What’s not to love?!
I have a collection I’m continually growing. My personal favourites are essential oils to boost, soothe or energise, the Wild Rose Beauty Balm I LOVE at this time of year, Organic & Fairwild Herbal Teas are sipped at least once a day & Frankincense Nourishing Cream it keeps skin nourished for up to 24 hours, deeply nourishing and extra rich in texture. It smells absolutely amazing too! My list could go on but I’ll share more about the product’s with you as the year unfolds. I really hope you will enjoy them & the benefits as much as I do.
Sharing is Caring
I’ve created a limited amount of little care bundles leaving with compliments very soon. There are two reasons, to say hello as you are a very much valued customer and to share little bundles of joy for you to see, inhale & feel for yourself. I’d like to call it Happy Post!
